Danish c.bank says low rates allow banks to take greater credit risks

COPENHAGEN, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Denmark’s central bank said on Friday that a long period of low interest rates allows banks to take greater credit risks.

“Following a long period of low interest rates and accommodative financial conditions, there is a basis for banks to assume greater risks when granting loans,” the central bank said in its financial stability analysis. (Reporting by Jacob Gronholt-Pedersen; Editing by Kim Coghill)
