Deutsche Telekom unit wins E.ON service contract

FRANKFURT, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Deutsche Telekom (DTEGn.DE) unit T-Systems has won an outsourcing contract worth up to 1 billion euros ($1.34 billion) from German utility E.ON (EONGn.DE), Deutsche Telekom said on Wednesday.

T-Systems — Deutsche Telekom’s business client unit — will take over responsibility for E.ON’s international speech and data network for at least the next five years, and 220 E.ON employees will switch to T-Systems.
