UAE's Fujairah sells refinery stake to Vitol

DUBAI, May 4 (Reuters) - The government of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates has sold “most of the stakes” in its refinery to Swiss-based oil trader Vitol, a statement on the state news agency WAM said on Friday.

The government and Vitol have been in talks over the sale of a mothballed refinery.

The 82,000 barrels per day refinery could be restarted after the sale, an official told Reuters in April.

The statement did not give a value for the sale.
