Troubled Fastjet advised to suspend Tanzanian flights

Dec 17 (Reuters) - Troubled low-cost African carrier Fastjet Plc said on Monday the directors of its Tanzanian operations had advised the airline to suspend all flights within the country.

Fastjet, which has warned that it only has enough cash to operate until Dec. 21, said here the directors of Fastjet Tanzania were talking with authorities about the continued operations of the airline.

Tanzania is Fastjet’s home market.
