PARIS, Sept 10 (Reuters) - French industrial output edged 0.3% higher in July, confounding the expectations of some economists who forecast a summer heatwave might support a stronger rebound, official data showed on Tuesday.
Analysts polled by Reuters had predicted an average 0.5% increase, with forecasts ranging from -0.5% to 1.7%.
Industrial output in the euro zone’s second largest economy fell 2.3 percent in June, the INSEE statistics agency said.
