ABN Amro: No tax dispute with Germany over "dividend stripping"

AMSTERDAM, Nov 8 (Reuters) - ABN Amro, one of the banks being questioned by German authorities in an investigation into an alleged 2007-2011 “dividend stripping” cartel, said on Thursday its exposure was limited.

In a statement, ABN said “no provision has been taken anymore for tax risks” in the case.

Legal risks remain and it will take a provision for that, but “only as much as our current insight sees as being necessary,” it said. (Reporting by Toby Sterling; Editing by Mark Potter)
