Goals Soccer to de-list as accounts probe deepens

Aug 2 (Reuters) - Five-a-side football pitch operator Goals Soccer Centres Plc said on Friday its shares would be de-listed from London’s small cap AIM market next month after it was unable to publish audited financials for 2018 in time, after it detected improper behaviour in relation to its past accounts.

The company, whose shareholders include retail tycoon Mike Ashley, said audit for full-year 2018 had been suspended and that its shares would stop trading on the index from Sept. 30. (Reporting by Shashwat Awasthi in Bengaluru; Editing by Anil D’Silva)
