Greek conservatives lead Socialists in poll - early results

May 6 (Reuters) - Greece’s conservative New Democracy party was leading socialist PASOK in Sunday’s election with 9.4 percent of the vote counted, the Greek interior ministry said.

The results showed New Democracy with 21.9 percent of the vote, with PASOK trailing in second place with 15 percent.

The Left Coalition, which has campaigned against the country’s international bailout, had captured 14.4 percent of the vote, according to the results. (Reporting by Harry Papachristou, writing by Deepa Babington, editing by Mike Peacock)
