Denmark to allow late tax, VAT payment for businesses hit by coronavirus

COPENHAGEN, March 10 (Reuters) - Denmark will temporarily postpone payment deadlines of tax and VAT for Danish companies to help industries struggling from the impact of the coronavirus, the Danish finance minister Nicolai Wammen said on Tuesday.

“With these initiatives we can reduce the risk of any consequences going deeper than necessary,” the minister said and added the move would provide an additional 125 billion Danish crowns ($19.00 billion) in liquidity to Danish companies.
