S.Korea to reactivate crisis fund to stabilize bond market

SEOUL, March 19 (Reuters) - South Korea’s finance minister on Thursday said it will reactivate its crisis fund ease bond market jitters from the widening economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.

Hong Nam-ki said the government will be all out to stabilize the economy and financial markets through a rescue package worth 50 trillion won ($38.9 billion) in steps. ($1 = 1,284.9700 won) (Reporting by Cynthia Kim; Editing by Christian Schmollinger)
