Turkish banking watchdog fines 15 banks $2.8 mln

ISTANBUL, May 15 (Reuters) - Turkish banking watchdog (BDDK) said on Friday that it fined 15 banks a total of 19.65 million lira ($2.84 million) over transactions that violated the watchdog’s instructions.

The BDDK did not name the banks but said the inquiry process is continuing with regards to complaints by banks’ clients during coronavirus outbreak.
