Hankook Tire to raise average wages in Hungary by 13.6 pct

BUDAPEST, March 6 (Reuters) - Hankook Tire will retroactively raise average wages at its Hungarian unit by 13.6 percent from the start of the year, the South Korean company said in a statement on Wednesday.

The VDSZ union held a two-hour strike at Hankook’s Hungarian plant early on Wednesday to demand higher wages, the union said on its website.
