TurkStream gas pipeline could bring gas to Hungary by end 2021 - PM Orban

BUDAPEST, Nov 7 (Reuters) - The TurkStream gas pipeline, which will run from Turkey via Bulgaria to Serbia and Hungary, is expected to be operational by the end of 2021, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Thursday after meeting Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.

TurkStream would open up an additional gas delivery route to Hungary, which mostly relies on Russian gas shipments via Ukraine now. (Reporting by Marton Dunai; editing by David Evans)
