Ecuador's Correa says to keep economy dollarized

QUITO, April 15 (Reuters) - President Rafael Correa said Ecuador’s economy will remain dollarized during his four-year mandate after he appeared on Sunday to easily win a referendum on creating an assembly to rewrite the constitution.

The opposition has accused the leftist of planning to use the new body to bring back a national currency even though the dollarization is widely believed to have helped create economic stability in the Andean country.
