Britain attracts orders in excess of 14.5 bln sterling on linker syndication-bookrunner

LONDON, May 24 (Reuters) - Britain attracted orders in excess of 14.5 billion pounds ($21.08 billion) on a sale of the 2046 index-linked gilt, via syndication, a bookrunner said on Tuesday.

Price guidance for the 0.125 percent 2046 bond tightened to 1.0 basis point over the 2044 index-linked bond .

The bookrunner also said books on the syndication would close at 0900 GMT. ($1 = 0.6879 pounds) (Reporting by Ana Nicolaci da Costa, editing by David Milliken)
