TPSA says no plan to pay fine in 14 days for DPTG

WARSAW, Sept 16 (Reuters) - France Telecom's FTE.WA Polish arm, TPSA TPSA.WA, is not planning to pay its fine to Danish Polish Telecommunications Group (DPTG) within 14 days as required, TSPA's deputy CEO said on Thursday.

“We are not planning to pay the fine within the 14-day fixed limit,” Piotr Muszynski told Reuters. “In our opinion the amount is disproportionate. We plan to use all legal means available to lower the amount.”

DPTG, a unit of Danish headset maker GN Store Nord GN.CO, won a 2.9 billion Danish crown ($495 million) suit against TPSA at the start of September and declared it would seek an additional 1 billion crowns after the favourable decision by the arbitration court.

The deadline for payment is Friday. (Reporting by Adrian Krajewski, Writing by Dagmara Leszkowicz)
