Indonesia cbank plans to review ownership in sharia banks

JAKARTA, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Indonesia’s central bank plans to review majority ownership in sharia banks in the country, deputy governor Halim Alamsyah said on Monday.

“We will redefine majority ownership in sharia banks,” said Alamsyah, adding it would cover bank ownership by individuals and institutions. (Reporting by Fathiya Dahrul)
