Indonesia sells 15 trillion rupiah of bonds, as targeted

JAKARTA, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Indonesia sold 15 trillion rupiah ($1.12 billion) worth of bonds at an auction, the finance ministry’s financing and risk management office said on Tuesday, in line with the indicative target of 15 trillion rupiah.

The government sold T-bills maturing in November 2017 with a weighted average yield of 5.00600 percent, higher than 4.98823 percent at the last auction on Aug 8.

The T-bills maturing in May 2018 had a weighted average yield of 5.65710 percent.

The weighted average yield for bonds maturing in May 2027 was 6.85881 percent.

The bonds maturing in August 2032 had a weighted average yield of 7.28994 percent, slightly lower than the previous auction’s 7.34000 percent.

The weighted average yield for bonds maturing in May 2038 was 7.36099 percent, lower than the previous auction of 7.64987 percent.

Total incoming bids were 46.32 trillion rupiah, lower than 58.62 trillion rupiah received at the previous auction.

The highest bid-to-cover ratio was 7.4 for bonds maturing in May 2027.
