Italy's tax police seize Atlantia board minutes in Genoa bridge probe

ROME, July 17 (Reuters) - Italy’s tax police have seized board-meeting minutes from infrastructure group Atlantia whose toll-road subsidiary operated the Genoa bridge that collapsed last year, a company spokesman said on Wednesday.

The spokesman said the documents were seized on Tuesday and related to board meetings over the past 10 years, adding that some documents had already been taken by police during a search in March.

A source with direct knowledge of the investigation said the documents were seized as part of the ongoing probe into the bridge collapse, in which 43 people were killed. (Reporting by Stefano Bernabei and Emilio Parodi Writing by Silvia Aloisi Editing by Mark Bendeich)
