Britain's John Lewis poaches Co-op's Wicks as department stores boss

LONDON, June 24 (Reuters) - Britain’s John Lewis Partnership has poached the Co-operative Group’s Pippa Wicks to be the boss of its department stores division, it said on Wednesday.

The employee-owned retailer said Wicks, currently deputy chief executive of the Co-op, will start as executive director of John Lewis in August. (Reporting by James Davey, editing by Estelle Shirbon)
