Lebanon's financial prosecutor freezes assets of 20 banks -NNA

BEIRUT, March 5 (Reuters) - Lebanon’s financial prosecutor has decided to freeze the assets of 20 Lebanese banks as well as the property of the bank chiefs and boards, state news agency NNA said on Thursday.

The prosecutor has given notice to the central bank and the country’s banking association, it said. (Reporting by Ellen Francis; Editing by Susan Fenton)
