Malaysia's international reserves fall to $101.7 bln as of Oct. 31

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Malaysia’s gross international reserves edged down to $101.7 billion as of Oct. 31, from $102.8 billion as of Oct. 15, the central bank said on Wednesday.

The reserves were sufficient to finance 7.5 months of retained imports, and were 0.9 times the short-term external debt, said Bank Negara Malaysia. (Reporting by Emily Chow; Editing by Simon Cameron-Moore)
