Malaysia's international reserves rise to $103.5 bln as of Aug 30

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Malaysia’s gross international reserves rose to $103.5 billion as of Aug. 30, from $103.1 billion on Aug. 15, the central bank said on Friday.

The reserves were sufficient to finance 7.6 months of retained imports, and were 1.1 times the short-term external debt, said Bank Negara Malaysia. (Reporting by Emily Chow; Editing by Sherry Jacob-Phillips)
