Malaysia's international reserves slip to $103.1 bln as of Aug 15

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Malaysia’s gross international reserves slipped to $103.1 billion as of Aug. 15, from $103.9 billion on July 31, the central bank said on Thursday.

The reserves were sufficient to finance 7.6 months of retained imports, and were 1.1 times the short-term external debt, said Bank Negara Malaysia. (Reporting by Emily Chow; Editing by Simon Cameron-Moore)
