Euro hits 2 1/2-mth low vs sterling

LONDON, May 26 (Reuters) - The euro hit a 2 1/2-month low against sterling on Thursday after the single currency fell across the board on speculation that Europe may be expected to help with additional financing for Greece. [ID:nBRLQGE7EI]

The euro EURGBP=D4 fell 0.3 percent to 86.22 pence, its lowest since mid-March.
