ZURICH, Aug 23 (Reuters) - The Swiss blue-chip SMI was seen opening 0.1 percent firmer at 8,975 points on Wednesday, according to premarket indications by bank Julius Baer.
Here are some of the main factors that may affect Swiss stocks.
* Zur Rose Group AG says increased sales by 7.2 per cent to chf 465.8 mln (8.2 per cent in local currency) in first half of 2017; because of extraordinary expenses, h1 EBITDA amounted to minus chf 11.6 mln (same period of previous year: chf 7.8 mln); h1 net loss chf 18.1 mln; expects organic sales growth approaching 10 per cent for full year 2017 and a negative EBITDA
* EMMI AG says H1 sales of chf 1,600.2 million, which was 0.4 % higher than previous year’s figure; H1 EBIT fell by 2.2 percent to 90.4 million), net profit rose by 8.6 % to chf 66.0 million; earnings expectations remain same as announced in March 2017
* Siegfried Holding AG says H1 EBITDA grew by 20.9% to 52.9 million francs; H1 net profit rose by 55.1% to 21.6 million francs; expects 2017 sales to grow in the single-digit and EBITDA in the double-digit percentage range
* Altin AG says H1 total comprehensive income of $1.451 million or $0.42 per share
