MEXICO CITY, Aug 9 (Reuters) - Mexico’s retailers association ANTAD said Thursday that same-store sales rose 4.8 percent in July compared to the same month a year earlier.
The figure reflects sales at stores that have been open for at least a year. Sales were up 8.2 percent in July for all stores from a year ago, ANTAD said. The retail group includes chains such as Wal-Mart de Mexico and Soriana. (Reporting by Sharay Angulo; Editing by Michael O’Boyle)
