Mexican peso up 1.2 pct after airport reports, U.S.-China trade truce

MEXICO CITY, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Mexico’s peso currency gained more than 1.2 percent on Sunday in international trading, mostly in Asia, after local media reported there may be a solution for bond-holders tied to the financing of the scrapped airport in the capital.

An announced U.S.-China trade truce also helped push the peso higher. (Reporting by Miguel Angel Gutierrez; Editing by Sandra Maler)
