Mondi to change operating structure into a single company

Nov 19 (Reuters) - Packaging firm Mondi Plc said it is simplifying its structure to become a simple combined company from its current dual-listed form, having a primary listing on the London Stock Exchange.

The new structure will come into force after London-listed Mondi Plc acquires Johannesburg-listed Mondi Ltd. “Streamlining the corporate structure will facilitate continued investment in the South African operations, estimated at over R8 billion over the next five years”, the company said.
