LONDON, September 5 (IFR) - Deutsche Bank has hired Thomas Nielsen as chief digital officer for its global transaction banking business within its corporate and investment bank.
Nielsen was most recently chief digital officer at UK retailer Tesco, where he was responsible for digital platforms, websites, and apps, including its popular Clubcard loyalty programme. He previously worked in the US, including at Brightcove and Microsoft.
Deutsche said Nielsen’s experience in developing and rolling out digital products for consumers will be important as the bank seeks to accelerate delivery of digital products and services for its corporate and institutional clients. (Reporting by Steve Slater)
