N Brown sees higher tax on marketing costs

Nov 13 (Reuters) - N Brown said on Tuesday it expected tax on its marketing costs to rise between 6 million pounds and 9 million pounds annually from its financial year 2020, as a result of its long-running dispute with the British government over tax recovery.

“The draft ruling has mixed implications for N Brown and we are disappointed by the current outcome,” the plus sized fashion retailer said in a statement. (Reporting by Noor Zainab Hussain in Bengaluru Editing by Saumyadeb Chakrabarty)
