Nigeria launches regulations to encourage gas use - oil minister

ABUJA, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Nigeria has launched gas transportation regulations aimed at expanding the use of gas and encouraging private pipeline investment, Minister of State for Petroleum Timipre Sylva said on Monday.

The new code will “drive gas commercialisation” and apply to all contracts between pipeline operators and those using the pipelines, said Sylva, speaking at the Nigerian International Petroleum Summit in Abuja.
