OSLO, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Norwegian papermaker Norske Skog NSG.OL said on Friday that it had nominated Eivind Reiten as the new chairman of the board.
Reiten is the chief executive of aluminium group Norsk Hydro (NHY.OL), but will step down at the end of March to be succeeded by Svein Richard Brandtzaeg.
“In a unanimous recommendation, the election committee in Norske Skog has nominated Eivind Reiten as new chair of the company’s board, and proposes re-election of all other board members,” Norske Skog said.
“Eivind Reiten is an experienced industry leader with extensive international experience,” Norske Skog said.
