Poland - Factors to Watch on Feb 9

 WARSAW, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press
reports and events to watch which may affect Poland's financial

 The International Monetary Fund is considering how it could
provide support to emerging market countries which could be hit
by contagion due to rocky global markets despite the fact they
have sound policies. Poland denied the earlier report that it
was talking to IMF about tapping into financial support.
 The exporting arm of Russian gas giant Gazprom GAZP.MM
raised natural gas deliveries to Poland to 93 percent of
contracted gas, Polish gas monopoly said PGNiG PGNI.WA said in

 Developer Polnord PNOR.WA had 100 million zlotys net
profit in 2008, but expects sales of new apartments in 2009 to
fall to 500 from 1,200 in 2008, its chief executive tells
 Troubled Polish national carrier PLL LOT [LOT.UL] may have
its capital raised due to bad financial situation, the treasury
ministry spokesman is quoted as saying by Dziennik.
