April 17 (Reuters) - U.S. advertising company Omnicom Group Inc’s revenue rose 1.2 percent in the first quarter, as it benefited from higher spending by businesses in Europe.
Revenue rose to $3.63 billion in the quarter ended March 31, from $3.59 billion, Omnicom said.
Omnicom, whose big clients include Apple, McDonald’s Corp and Adidas, said net income attributable to the company rose to $264.1 million, or $1.14 per share, from $241.8 million, or $1.02 per share, a year earlier. (Reporting by Arjun Panchadar in Bengaluru; Editing by Shailesh Kuber)
