WARSAW, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Orange Polska, part of France’s Orange, sees room for a dividend payout in 2020, the company’s Chief Financial Officer Maciej Nowohonski said on Monday.
Poland’s largest telecoms operator earlier updated the market with its growth and spending plans. But it did not give information on its dividend plans, sending the shares down by more than 5 percent.
“Our strategy is oriented towards growth, that’s why we don’t mention a dividend. In the model we have there is space of dividend to be paid in 2020. But we don’t commit today to that date and we don’t commit to any amount,” Nowohonski told a conference.
