Beware triskaidekaphobics on the loose

LONDON (Reuters) - Nomura analysts sent readers of one of their morning financial market notes scurrying for their dictionaries on Friday with a suggestion that there may be triskaidekaphobes on the loose.

Triskaidekaphobia is the fear of the number 13 — as in Friday the 13th, held unlucky in many cultures.

The Japanese investment bank suggested that “triskaidekaphopic” types could play a role in bond and stock market trading given current market volatility.
