Jan 7 (Reuters) - Canadian oil firm Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp PRE.TO said it agreed to pay $190 million to Oleoducto Central S.A. (Ocensa) for using the Colombia-based company’s pipeline system.
Under the deal, Pacific Rubiales acquired preferential rights to transport 160 million barrels of oil for a 10-year period beginning Feb. 1.
Shares of the Toronto-based Pacific Rubiales closed at C$14.94 Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange. (Reporting by Koustav Samanta in Bangalore; Editing by Ratul Ray Chaudhuri)
