Grammy-winning New Orleans musician Dr. John dead at 77

June 6 (Reuters) - Grammy-winning musician Dr. John, who brought the New Orleans voodoo vibe to the American music scene and became one of the city’s most venerated pianists, died on Thursday at age 77, his family said on the performer’s Twitter account.
