DUBAI, July 11 (Reuters) - Qatar National Bank (QNB), the Gulf’s largest lender, reported a 5.7 percent increase in second-quarter net profit, according to Reuters calculations.
The bank made a net profit of 3.7 billion riyals ($1.02 billion) in the three months to June 30, compared with 3.5 billion riyals in the corresponding period of 2017, Reuters calculated from half-year results in the absence of a quarterly breakdown.
For the first half of the year, the bank reported a net profit of 7.1 billion riyals, up 7 percent from the same period of last year. ($1 = 3.6400 Qatar riyals) (Reporting By Tom Arnold. Editing by Jane Merriman)
