Romania cenbank sees CPI below target until summer-fall

BUCHAREST, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Romania’s consumer price inflation is expected to slow towards zero in February and set to remain below the central bank’s target until the summer-fall period, central bank Governor Mugur Isarescu said on Monday.

Falling global oil prices helped drive Romanian inflation down to 0.8 percent in December, below the central bank’s 1.5-3.5 percent target range.
