PARIS, Nov 19 (Reuters) - France number eight Louis Picamoles has been ruled out of Saturday’s match against Samoa because of a knee injury, the French team said in a statement on Thursday.
Flanker and captain Thierry Dusautoir, originally named as a replacement, will start the game but prop Sylvain Marconnet will still lead the side.
Julien Bonnaire switches from flanker to number eight while Julien Puricelli, who won his two caps during the June tour of New Zealand and Australia, is added to the replacements.
Picamoles, named man of the match when France defeated world champions South Africa 20-13 last Friday in Toulouse, suffered bruising to his right knee during training on Wednesday.
