WELLINGTON, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Beuaden Barrett scored a 78th-minute try to ensure the All Blacks retained the Bledisloe Cup with a 35-29 victory over Australia in their Rugby Championship clash in Dunedin on Saturday.
The All Blacks have held the symbol of trans-Tasman supremacy since 2003.
Barrett’s second try of the game came just two minutes after Wallabies centre Kurtley Beale had given his side a 29-28 lead and hope of keeping the Bledisloe Cup series alive heading into the third game in Brisbane on Oct. 21.
The Wallabies were left to rue a wayward goal-kicking performance from flyhalf Bernard Foley, who left nine points on the field with four missed shots at goal at Otago Regional Stadium. (Reporting by Greg Stutchbury; Editing by John O‘Brien)
