Russia's Polyus sees 2018 production at upper end of guided range

ST PETERSBURG, May 24 (Reuters) - Polyus, Russia’s largest gold producer, said on Thursday its 2018 production was likely to be at the upper end of the forecast range of 2.375-2.425 million troy ounces.

Speaking on the sidelines of the St Petersburg economic forum, Polyus Chief Executive Pavel Grachev also said the company’s capital expenditures were expected to be slightly below the initially planned $850 million this year.
