Gazprom says to decide on Sakhalin-2 expansion in late 2018-early 2019

ST PETERSBURG, June 7 (Reuters) - Russian gas giant Gazprom will make a decision on the expansion of Sakhalin-2 project, which produces liquefied natural gas, in the fourth quarter 2108 or in the first quarter of 2019, Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev said on Thursday.

He also said that Russian export price for gas was expected at $220 “and more” per 1,000 cubic metres this year, while exports to Turkey and Europe outside former Soviet Union states were expected at 196-197 billion cubic metres under a conservative scenario.
