Russia's Phosagro says Q1 core earnings up 13 pct y/y

MOSCOW, May 30 (Reuters) - Russian fertiliser producer Phosagro said on Wednesday its first-quarter core earnings rose 13 percent year-on-year to 14.3 billion roubles ($229.14 million).

Net profit in the first quarter was down 44 percent compared to the same period the previous year, to 6.9 billion roubles, the company said in a statement.

Revenue rose 23 percent year-on-year to 54.6 billion roubles. ($1 = 62.4075 roubles) (Reporting by Polina Ivanova; Editing by Maria Kiselyova)
