MOSCOW, Nov 9 (Reuters) - The CEO of Russia’s State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK)Mikhail Poluboyarinov is the main candidate to take over at Russia’s flagship airline Aeroflot, two aviation industry sources told Reuters on Monday.
Vitaly Saveliev, the airline’s current head, is set to become Russia’s new transport minister after Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin recommended him for the position on Monday, following the dismissal of Yevgeny Dietrich as part of a broader cabinet reshuffle.
GTLK and Aeroflot did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
