Russia's Polymetal says Q2 revenue up 13 pct y/y

MOSCOW, July 26 (Reuters) - Russian gold and silver producer Polymetal said on Thursday its second-quarter revenue rose 13 percent year-on-year to $435 million due to an increase in production and higher sales of gold.

The company, part-owned by businessman Alexander Nesis, said its production of gold equivalent, which is a mix of gold and other metals, rose to 324,000 troy ounces. (Reporting by Polina Devitt; editing by Tom Balmforth)
