Russia's Polymetal says Q1 revenue up 19 pct y/y

MOSCOW, April 18 (Reuters) - Russian gold and silver producer Polymetal said on Wednesday its first-quarter revenue rose 19 percent year-on-year to $354 million due to an increase in production and higher sales of gold.

The company, part-owned by businessman Alexander Nesis, said its production of gold equivalent, which is a mix of gold and other metals, rose 5 percent to 295,000 troy ounces. (Reporting by Diana Asonova and Polina Devitt; editing by Maria Kiselyova)
