Russia's Polyus says Q2 gold sales at $683 mln, up 12 pct q/q

MOSCOW, July 24 (Reuters) - Russia’s largest gold producer Polyus said on Tuesday its gold sales in the second quarter were up 12 percent from the previous quarter and stood at $683 million.

Gold production in the second quarter was up 19 percent quarter-on-quarter, reaching 602,000 ounces, Polyus said. It also said it expected to complete a ramp-up of its Natalka mill in the Russian Far East in the second half of 2018.
